 J. Streets formerly known as Papoose was a native of California’s Bay Area a street survivalist of East Palo Alto. A product of poverty and day to day struggles led him to want to share these struggles and inter city experiences with the greater public – as if they didn’t know. Raised in a single parent home with as much love as one could ask for, there was never much money all the while learning the game inside out. Hustling was mandatory and music came in as sort of a way to release pain and stress or to relax. Then it got serious. He always knew how to rhyme so he hooked up with his brother Hue Cobb aka Mob Boss started a group called, “Roots from the Underground” and got connected with Murder One Records. With hot beats produced by Sean T. and lyrics both hard and flamboyant we knew we were on to something. Collaborating with Chunk, Kaos, Sean T., Scoot Dog and Sh’Killa.Roots from the Underground was hot. Shooting a video for the hit song, “Squares wanna be Players” with guest appearances by E-40 and The Click. Pushin’ units and performing in several states. Receiving big write ups in Source magazine, Mad Dogg, Rap Pages and 4080. That prompted a distribution deal with City Hall.

Staying underground and paying dues, J. Streets says that Get Gone Records & Dallas Squad Music is his ride home back where he belongs. Look for the new debut solo album coming soon.

Eighteen the dope rapper/ confident flow master/ I bust for bucks, not talkin’ bout a chrome packer/ I studied the game findin’ ways to blow faster/ mistakes in my life I close those chapters/…” These lyrics are that of rap artist 18 – Tha Teenager, born KYRON W., from Hayward, California. Hayward is a city in the East Bay, referred to as the “Haystack”, that hasn’t yet put its mark on the map, however that is quickly changing now that the “Needle in the Haystack” has been discovered. Eighteen represents his hometown proudly as he knows that there is a lot of talent in Hayward and now is the perfect time for him to bring lyrical notoriety to the city.

The lyrics you hear in his music he has either lived or seen in his life and by staying true to his lyrics he maintains himself as a genuine person with a humble persona. In order to never lose sight of this, he looks towards one of his greatest role models in the industry Sean T., who has been like an older brother to Eighteen. Sean T. is himself a very humble artist and producer with experience in the industry professionally for over 10 years. Eighteen and Sean T have a great studio chemistry and he praises Eighteen for his incredible work ethic.

Eighteen has gained national recognition as he has been a part of the NBA Rhythm & Rims Tour for two years in a row and he has also been involved with many local Bay Area events. He has had magazine appearances in Black Beat, Ill Tip, Showcase, 510, and he has been on the front cover of Lexani Rims Magazine. Many of his collaborations have included: Sean T., San Quinn, Yukmouth, Rufus Blaque, Proof of D-12, Mistah Fab, G Stack of the Delinquents, Balance and Hoodstarz to name a few.

This is Eighteen’s time and nothing can stop him. His fluid metaphors and piercing lyrics, in collaboration with Get Gone Records are sure to establish him as a lyricist soon to take the industry by storm. Always remembering that success will be not only be measured by album sales, but more importantly by his presence in the industry as an artist who consistently has tremendous drive, raw talent, distinctive lyrical skill, and a prominent stage presence. The solo debut fifteen-track album titled "Access Granted" is available now!
